Mozella Davis Johnson was born July 30, 1935. She departed this life Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Mozella professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Pleasant Chapel Church in Memphis, Tennessee later she joined Old Salem Baptist Church.
Mozella was united in holy matrimony to the late Percy Johnson to this union nine children were born.
Left to cherish her memory her children, Marilyn Johnson, Virginia Dean, Luvenia Johnson, Cynthia Johnson, Vorella Johnson (Carl), Dennis Johnson, Jessie Johnson. Percy Lee Johnson; one brother: James Davis; three sisters-in-law: Vera Jean Stewart (Columbia), Maria Echols, and Armitte Price (Issac); one brother-in-law: Booker T. Johnson (Lucy); twenty-nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; a dear friend for years Eula Allen (Sue) as well as Ms. Mary, Ms. Mason, and Catherine (Kat) all her friends from Mount Moriah ad Graceland Pines; also left to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mozella was preceded in death by her mother and father Ophelia and George Davis; daughter: Shirley Woods; three sisters: Earline Davis, Louise Davis, and Hazel Pope; two sons-in-law: James Dean Dean, Charles Woods; four grandchildren: Christopher Harrell, Katraya Johnson, Victor Prince, Quincy Prince; one brother George Davis.
