Malcolm Egerson

Malcom Floyd Egerson was born May 20 1991 to Gwendolyn Johnson ans the late George Johnson Jr.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Come C 901 under the leadership of Apostle Charlotte Cobb. Malcom attended East High School. He was a laid back guy and to know “Black” was to love him.

He was preceded in death by his father George Johnson; both Grandmothers Lovis Johnson and Cora Johnson, great grandmothers Mildred Egerson, two aunts Floridt Douglas, Linda Maxwell, and two uncles Floyd Ivy and Torry.

Malcom leaves to cherish his memories a mother Gwendolyn Johnson, one daughter Malaysia Crawford, uncle Steven (Sandra) Johnson, Sam Johnson, aunt Judy Johnson, his siblings Gwenisha ( Calvin) Mitchell Tara Sanders, Sandra Egerson, Three brothers Thaddeus (Aber) Egerson, Brandon Johnson, Stephen Young (Melissa), He also leaves a best friend DeArius Williamson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Malcolm Egerson of Memphis, TN, who left us on July 8, 2025, at the age of 34, He is survived by many families and friends who cherished and loved him dearly.
