Obituary
Leedale Buntyn (Nail Head) was born to Abraham Buntyn and Geneva Buntyn in Memphis, Tennessee. He confessed a hope in Christ at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church on Highway 64 under the leadership of Rev. Edward Stevenson Sr. He worked at Jackson Cookie Factory and Mr. Pride Car Wash until his health failed. He loved listening to music and playing basketball. He attended Shawlolawn Elementary, Northside High School, and Cypress Jr. High.
Leedale married Barbara Jones. He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Ernestine, Rita, Ann, Julius, Charles and Darlene. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, family and friends. He leaves three brothers: Alfonzo Buntyn, Darnell Buntyn, and James (Charollet) Buntyn. Aunt: Maxine Gwin. Uncle: Howard Poindexter of Memphis, Tennessee. Three Sisters: Margaret Elory) Walton. Ernestine (Steven) Harris and Doris (Arthur) Nolen. He was proceeded in death by his parents: Abraham Buntyn Sr. and Geneva Poindexter, two grandmothers and the brothers: James Baker, Abraham Buntyn Jr. and Johnny Nelson.
