Lasheka Johnson

Lasheka Johnson was born on January 10, 1986 to her mother Barbara Johnson and father Langston Banks.

Lasheka was educated at Frayser High School. Lasheka was born in Memphis, TN but raised near Evergreen St. Lasheka’s nickname was "PoohBaby" or sometimes even "PoohPooh". Lasheka worked for shelby county jail in 2019 She also worked with homecare.com. Later on she became a security guard for clarion. She studied Criminal law in 2013. She loved to write, visit the river and also watch lifetime shows. Lasheka was an old soul, she loved some TK soul, the O’Jays, and The Dramatics.

She was a member of Hill Chapel Baptist Church

 Lasheka leaves to cherish her memories her children  Detravius Johnson Lanneisha Johnson Traviona Johnson and Desha Monroe. One granchild Kaliaa Johnson. She also leave three siblings Shumeka Mcshane, Arthur Johnson and Tonya. Lasheka also 2 nieaces and 2 nephews Shanetra Johnson, Kenisha Walker, Kendarious Mcshane and Kerion McShane and one great nephew Kendrick Walker as well as a host of friends and other relatives.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lasheka Johnson of Memphis, TN, who left us on July 13, 2025, at the age of 39, She is survived by many families and friends who cherished and loved her dearly. Please keep the Johnson family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Lasheka, you will be truly missed.
