Life Witness
Of
Jennifer Fay Thompson
Jennifer Fay Thompson, a loving daughter and only child of the late Curtis Thompson and Vernice Thompson, departed this life on September 4, 2024.
Fay, as she was known by close relatives and friends, was born on December 5, 1955. She was adored by both of her parents. She believed in and trusted the Good Lord, and as a result joined the Beulah Baptist Church. She and her mother attended until her health began to fail.
Fay was educated in the Memphis City School System. She attended Carnes Elementary, Humes, Jr. High, and graduated from Northside High School. She furthered her education at the University of Memphis, where she graduated cum laude.
Fay strongly believed in keeping things in order and for that reason it is no surprise that she was a very active member of the Tennessee Association of Parliamentarians. This Association included the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon Units, as well as, Members – at – Large.
Fay’s careers included employment with International Paper and the Heinz Corporation.
