Brenda McVay

Brenda Kay McVay was born in Memphis, TN to Mr. Alvin McVay and Mrs. Eddie Mae McVay on March 15, 1961.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and baptized at Morning Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Ben Chatman.

She attended Cypress J. High School.

She departed this life on November 1, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her mother Eddie Mae McVay and father: Alvin McVay, and brother: Darryl A. Jones

She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted brother Pastor Morris A. Jones (Rena); sisters:  Tujuana Presley of Cordova, TN, and Shirley Barringer of Indianapolis, Indiana and brother Darnell Mull of Memphis, Tennessee.

She leaves a special aunt:  Jean Littie Jean Parker of Memphis, Tennessee and her cousin who she considered her sister Debra Nickleberry, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda McVay (Memphis, Tennessee), who passed away on Nov 1, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Please keep the McVay family in your thoughts and prayers. Brenda you are truly missed.
